In the summer of 2025, the 2nd open-air painting session (pleneras) was held to honor the memory of painter Aleksandras Vozbinas (1958–2021). The event took place in the village of Ziboliškė, located in the Švenčionys district - a place the painter had visited and painted many times.
This year’s session brought together eight artists from Poland and Lithuania:
Piotr Dondajewski, Ewa Miazek, Arvydas Kašauskas, Lena Khvichia, Reda and Aurimas Rekašiai, Ieva Skauronė, Dovilė Tomkutė.
The post-session exhibition, titled “Palette of Herbs” (Žolynų paletė), was held at the Nalšia Museum. It showcased works capturing the unique nature surrounding Ziboliškė: the bends of the Mera River, blooming meadows, and forest motifs.
Many artists depicted the homesteads of the ethnographic village, while others were inspired by the well-known midsummer Rasos (St. John's Day) festival and its traditional wreaths of herbs and wildflowers.
The exhibition remained open to the public at the Nalšia Museum until the end of September.
