Aleksandras Vozbinas Art award and an art album were presented to Emilija Šlepetytė, a 3rd-year student of installation art (fresco-mosaic) at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Emilija interprets historical themes in her works in her own way.
The laureate was congratulated by the rector of VDA, Ieva Skauronė, and the award was presented by the philosopher Edgaras Bolšakovas, nephew of Aleksandras Vozbinas, who wished Emilija creative success and not to forget the themes of our country's history.
It has already become a beautiful tradition that at the beginning of the academic year, a student of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, who explores historical themes in their work, is awarded the Aleksandras Vozbinas Art Award.
